Instrument Panel Molding is an interior cabin panel on the Volvo that covers the door frame and carries the switchgear, speaker or handle. Genuine Volvo part number 32234495.
Interior panels fail at the mounting clips rather than the panel itself, so a trim that rattles, gapes or drops at one corner usually needs new clips and a sound panel. Trim panels are handed and trim-level specific — a panel for a car with a manual window has no switch cut-out.
Work the clips in from the top edge downward and check the window seal before final seating.
