Inner Quarter Panel forms the wheel-arch structure on the Kia, protecting the tyre cavity from road spray and debris. Genuine Kia part number 71602-DW000.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Panels are handed and body-style specific; confirm the side and whether the car is a sedan, coupe or wagon.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
