HVAC Mode Door – Mazda (kd4561a1z)

HVAC Mode Door is fitted to the Mazda door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Mazda part number kd4561a1z.

Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.

Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
