Hood Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Mazda that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Mazda part number ncy05231xk.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Fits 1999-2005 Mazda Miata as listed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Panels & Extensions Hood Panel replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
