Hood Panel is a body-side fitting on the Mazda — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Mazda part number ec0152310m.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Fits 2001-2006 Mazda Tribute as listed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Panels & Extensions Hood Panel replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
