Hood Panel is a body-side fitting on the Mazda — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Mazda part number b25d52310h.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Fits 1999-2000 Mazda Protege as listed. Check quantity on the listing: some fittings are sold individually and a full panel needs several.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Panels & Extensions Hood Panel replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
