Hood Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Kia that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Kia part number 66400-2G500.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Fits 2009-2010 Kia Optima as listed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Panels & Extensions Hood Panel replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
