Hood Latch sits at the front of the Mazda and is directly exposed to stone strikes, heat cycling and weather. Genuine Mazda part number GHP9-56-620B.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
Hood Latches Hood Latch replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
