Hood Hinge sits at the front of the Volvo and is directly exposed to stone strikes, heat cycling and weather. Genuine Volvo part number 32405889.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
