Hood Hinge is a hood-area component on the Volvo that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Volvo part number 31385813.
A hood that will not stay up or will not release is a safety item, not just a convenience one. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
