Hood Hinge sits at the front of the Mazda and is directly exposed to stone strikes, heat cycling and weather. Genuine Mazda part number B45A-52-420A.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
Hood Hinges Hood Hinge replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
