Hinge Pillar – Driver’s Side (LH) sits on the Kia body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Kia part number 71110-2GA50. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
