Hinge Nut is one of the small body fittings on your Nissan that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Nissan part number 01225-0012U.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
Clips & Fasteners Hinge Nut replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
