Hinge is part of the door assembly on your Nissan and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Nissan part number 80401-ZP80A.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Hinges Hinge replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
