Hinge Cover – Passenger Side (RH) is a body fitting on the Volvo that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Volvo part number 9479234. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Caps & Plugs Hinge Cover – Passenger Side (RH) replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
