Hinge Cover is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 89295-P2000GYT.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Caps & Plugs Hinge Cover replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
