Hinge Assembly is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 31377057.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
Door Hinges Hinge Assembly replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
