Handle is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 9154978.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
Door Handles Handle replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
