Handle is fitted to the Kia door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Kia part number 81240-3F000.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Fits 2004-2006 Kia Amanti as listed. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
Door Handles Handle replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
