Handle, Inside – Driver’s Side (LH) – Volvo (39862304)

Handle, Inside – Driver’s Side (LH) is fitted to the Volvo door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Volvo part number 39862304. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.

Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.

Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
