Handle Base – Passenger Side (RH) is a body-side fitting on the Kia — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Kia part number 82665-D9700. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
