Handle Base – Driver’s Side (LH) is a body-side fitting on the Mazda — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Mazda part number D651-59-42XF. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
Interior Hardware Handle Base – Driver’s Side (LH) replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
