Handle Base – Driver’s Side (LH) is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 82655-2J700. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
