Grip Handle is a body fitting on the Nissan that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Nissan part number 73940-9AE1A.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
Interior Hardware Grip Handle replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
