Grip Handle is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 85340-D5000HGC.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Interior Hardware Grip Handle replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
