Glove Box Latch mounts inside the Mazda door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Mazda part number ec0164090b35.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Door hardware is handed — left and right are different parts. Check the side marked on the listing against the door you are repairing.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Door Latches Glove Box Latch replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
