Fender Upper Reinforced is the panel around the Kia wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Kia part number 66325-DO000.
Because the arch traps mud and salt, a panel that looks sound can be structurally thin behind the lip. Check whether the original panel has an aerial hole, a side-repeater cut-out or a cladding mounting provision.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
