Fender Splash Shield is the body panel that frames the wheel arch on your Mazda and closes the gap between the door, hood and bumper. Genuine Mazda part number VC67-56-130.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Check whether the original panel has an aerial hole, a side-repeater cut-out or a cladding mounting provision.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
