Fender Splash Shield is the body panel that frames the wheel arch on your Mazda and closes the gap between the door, hood and bumper. Genuine Mazda part number B45A-56-140H.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Check whether the original panel has an aerial hole, a side-repeater cut-out or a cladding mounting provision.
Trial-fit the panel before paint so any adjustment at the door gap is done on bare metal.
