Fender is the panel around the Mazda wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Mazda part number gk2a52111b.
Because the arch traps mud and salt, a panel that looks sound can be structurally thin behind the lip. Model year facelifts often change the arch profile even where the door and hood are unchanged.
Trial-fit the panel before paint so any adjustment at the door gap is done on bare metal.
Fenders Fender replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
