Fender is the panel around the Mazda wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Mazda part number ec0152211f.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Model year facelifts often change the arch profile even where the door and hood are unchanged.
Trial-fit the panel before paint so any adjustment at the door gap is done on bare metal.
Fenders Fender replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
