Fender Liner Rivet is the panel around the Mazda wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Mazda part number B455-56-143.
These panels take stone chips and road spray directly, so corrosion usually starts at the arch lip or behind the liner long before it shows on the outer face. Model year facelifts often change the arch profile even where the door and hood are unchanged.
Trial-fit the panel before paint so any adjustment at the door gap is done on bare metal.
