Fender Liner is the body panel that frames the wheel arch on your Kia and closes the gap between the door, hood and bumper. Genuine Kia part number 86812-P2500.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Model year facelifts often change the arch profile even where the door and hood are unchanged.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
