Fender is the panel around the Kia wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Kia part number 66320-L2000.
Because the arch traps mud and salt, a panel that looks sound can be structurally thin behind the lip. Check whether the original panel has an aerial hole, a side-repeater cut-out or a cladding mounting provision.
Trial-fit the panel before paint so any adjustment at the door gap is done on bare metal.
Fenders Fender replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
