Because it is moulded from a flexible thermoplastic, this part dents and splits rather than rusting — which means most replacements are cosmetic rather than structural. Match the cover to trim level and sensor provisions — a cover for a car without park-assist has no cut-outs for the sensors and will not accept them.
Supplied uncoated, so it must be primed, sealed and painted before installation.
