Door Sill Plate runs along the body side of your Mazda, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Mazda part number ld476873005.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
