Door Shell – Passenger Side (RH) is fitted to the Mazda door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Mazda part number EGY1-72-02XP. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Shells Door Shell – Passenger Side (RH) replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
