Door Panel Insert is fitted to the Nissan door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Nissan part number 76974-9BU1A.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Doors Door Panel Insert replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
