Door Mirror Trim Ring mounts inside the Volvo door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Volvo part number 31417092.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Doors Door Mirror Trim Ring replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
