Door Lock Striker Pin mounts inside the Mazda door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Mazda part number dn4e72361a.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Door Lock Actuators Door Lock Striker Pin replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
