Door Lock Operating Rod is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 30747086.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Lock Actuators Door Lock Operating Rod replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
