Door Latch Cable is a body-side fitting on the Volvo — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Volvo part number 30663016.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Cables Door Latch Cable replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
