Door Applique is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 31217459.
UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
Appliques Door Applique replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
