Door Applique sits on the Mazda body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Mazda part number KMV6-50-M60.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
Appliques Door Applique replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
