Door Applique is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number bemd50m20e.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
Appliques Door Applique replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
