Convertible Top Latch Bracket is a body fitting on the Volvo that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Volvo part number 8611712.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Check quantity on the listing: some fittings are sold individually and a full panel needs several.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
