Convertible Top Hinge is fitted to the Volvo door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Volvo part number 31256607.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Hinges Convertible Top Hinge replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
