Center Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Kia that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Kia part number 86699-P1EA0.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
Moldings Center Molding replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
