Bumper Impact Bar closes out the Volvo’s bumper assembly, carrying the visual line of the front or rear end while the steel beam behind it handles the load. Genuine Volvo part number 31278835.
Because it is moulded from a flexible thermoplastic, this part dents and splits rather than rusting — which means most replacements are cosmetic rather than structural. Check the model year break on the listing: mid-cycle facelifts change the cover shape even when the fender and hood are unchanged.
Delivered in a raw or primed finish, ready for a body shop to colour-match.
