Bumper Impact Bar Bracket is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 86642-2T500.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Fits 2014-2016 Kia Optima as listed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Body Brackets Bumper Impact Bar Bracket replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
